Creams – Stockport’s New Waffle, Pancake And Ice Cream Palace

Opening on Tuesday the 13th of March, the Creams franchise opens its doors to the Stockport community as part of the new Redrock development.

Creams, as the name suggests, is a contemporary american style desert parlour that prides itself on waffles, pancakes, ice cream and milkshakes.

We don’t want to ‘waffle’ on too much as we are well aware that this is the kind of place that is all about the photos. Luckily for you we have taken a lot. If you wish to just scroll straight down and have a look, don’t feel guilty, we understand.

A few quick pointers that are worthy of a note however:

– The portions are absolutely huge. It may be better to begin (Creams don’t hate us for saying this) by sharing something and then going back for more.

– Creams is family orientated; there is a children’s menu as well as a play area on the second floor – we’d be lying if we said we didn’t want to have a go.

– Order the Chocolate Fudge Mess Waffle (picture number four). It was delishhh.

Normally we stray away from writing about franchises but until now Stockport was lacking a fashionable sweet-tooth eatery like Creams so we thought why not…

The overall visit was filled with positivity. It is great to see an owner who is passionate about bringing business to Stockport. You could see this enthusiasm transferred into the staff.

However, this may have been because, as one of the staff made us aware, as part of training they had to taste test everything on the menu – it‘s a big menu and that is a whole lot of sugar.

Nevertheless we had a great time and recommend you should treat yourself to a dessert or two. There’s a gym nearby incase you should need it.

Let the sugar overload commence…
