Frankies Wine Bar
Live Music, Cocktails & Great Vibes
Admittedly, Frankies Wine Bar is located in Disley, the quaint village just outside of Stockport. However, at just under 7 miles away and easily accessible by train, we think it is well worth a trip a little further afield to experience all that Frankies has to offer.
Frankies has evolved over the years from an up-and-coming wine bar, into a well-established, widely popular bar and eatery with an excellent reputation that brings people in from far and wide. One visit to Frankies will surely entice you and leave you wanting more. Whilst fitting in with the countryside surroundings, the venue contrasts the evermore popular shabby chic furniture with modern lighting and comfortable sofas.
Upon entry it is like walking into a cosy little bubble… It is so unexpected.
Whether you fancy a bite to eat, coffee and cake, a refreshing early evening drink or a couple of drinks with friends, Frankies offers it all. The food menu provides an excellent selection ranging from lunchtime bites and sharing platters to a specials board that offer options for a bigger meal. You can also book in advance and enjoy afternoon tea (£15 per person). Do not feel obliged to eat when you visit however, as there is a whole manner of drinks on offer with a superb wine list, cocktails, a wide range of gins and spirits and beers.
For an afternoon visit there are plenty of quiet corners to enjoy a relaxing escape from the busy rush of life, have a cosy coffee by the open fire or enjoy a glass of prosecco in the front outdoor terrace.
Once evening falls, the comfortable and relaxed atmosphere transforms to a buzzing, upbeat and inviting bar with people of all ages having a laugh and enjoying themselves. Several nights of the week you will find live music from local bands and artists as well as varying offers on drinks- the last Sunday of the month is G&Ts!
We would highly recommend visiting Frankies Wine Bar and we believe it has something to offer for everyone. With friendly staff and impressive interior décor, we think they’ve got it spot on and have created a brilliant, extremely popular establishment. We suggest making a day trip and heading to Lyme Park, around two miles away for a walk before settling in at Frankies for a refreshing drink in the sun.
