Remedy The Work Week With Remedy Bar
Remedy Bar opened its doors two years ago. The bar is situated in Stockport Old Town and was transformed from two struggling clothes shops into a craft ale metropolis.
The space inside has warm low lighting, open brick, candle flickers and a window to display distillery equipment that add to the authentic feel of a young brewery. One of the interiors triumphs are the large front facing windows that allow for an excellent view of the Market Hall. Whilst seated near the window you feel as if you are almost part of the market and the outside space.
Remedy Bar’s selling point is their focus on serving high quality craft ales. The ales on offer range considerably and we recommend giving a few a try. For the non-ale drinkers among us, there is a variety of gins on offer; a personal favourite being the Elderflower gin.
Remedy Bar also has a refreshing playlist of indie tunes that contribute to the casual atmosphere. The bar itself is incredibly musically orientated and during the weekends live bands take centre stage to perform to a livelier crowd.
This independent bar is another example of Stockport Old town becoming a revitalised area for young and old to enjoy music, drinks and food. We at Stop in Stockport hope that next time you remedy the weeks works with a drink at Remedy Bar.
