6 Stockport Brands to Watch
We’ve put together a list of some our favourite brands coming out of Stockport – ranging from fashion, alcohol & wellbeing products – we have to do all we can in the current environment to support local makers & creators anyway we can!
1 – Over the County Culture
Over the County Culture are a team of local creatives whom passion for Stockport County combined with an interest in design and fashion has resulted in the creation of a line of tees, hats and badges. 2 – Thirst Class Ale
Based in Reddish these fantastic local micro brewers have been creating handcrafted beers right here in Stockport since 2014. The team at Thirst Class Ale have grown from strength to strength and are now supplying many establishments across the borough and beyond. If you are looking to snaffle yourself a can or two the following town centre locations stock their beers: Petersgate Tap, The Magnet, Produce Hall, Remedy Bar & many more!
3 – Millshed

4 – Stockport Gin
The Romiley couple behind Stockport Gin have created a fantastic local gin that is widely known across the borough. With partnerships including Stockport County and Selfridges this local brand is clearly on the up! If you are looking to grab a bottle you can either visit a local stockists, ask for it in your local (and hope they have it) or visit them at Stockport or Cheadle Makers Market. 5 – Hikerdelic
With routes from Stockport Hikerdelic resembles the unique position of Stockport in a geographical sense. The clothing brand’s tag line is “from peak to precinct’ – clearly a nod towards the Peak District on the boundary to the borough and the town and city precincts in-between.
