1 – Pickle Ricks
Located on the A6 in what used to be Alfresco’s Italian Restaurant – this Hazel Grove pizza place serves large (14 inch) American style pizzas with a wide variety of toppings. Pickle Ricks has been highly popular during lockdown even having to stop taking orders due to large demand. The pizzas here are large so remember to wear something loose! Currently available for pick up or delivery when ordered from Uber Eats.

2 – Project 53
Located in Stockport Marketplace Project 53 is predominately a craft beer/gin bar but it does however offer a range of pizzas as one of its limited food options. The pizzas at project 53 are average size but make up for that with quality ingredients and fantastic flavours. One of our personal favourites is the goats cheese, caramelised onion, balsamic vinegar & rocket pizza. Project 53 is now open for eating in and pick up.

3 – Dome & Base @ The Produce Hall
Dome & Base, one of the Produce Hall’s eateries, is a pizza making machine. With swathes of customers on a standard Friday these guys know how to make pizza and lots of them. Using fresh ingredients, not skimping on the size and coming in as the most affordable on our list it’s a must try. Currently available to eat in the hall and order online for pick up.

4 – I Knead Pizza
Based in Reddish, I Knead Pizza create a very authentic Neapolitan style pizza with a wood fired taste right to the heart of every slice. These guys have a fantastic set up in Reddish and over lockdown have flourished with orders from all over the Stockport borough. Homemade, hand-stretched authentic, and tasty – I Knead Pizza really should be on your Stockport pizza list. Currently available to order from Uber Eats for pick up and delivery.

5 – Roost
One of Heaton Moor’s staples, Roost has a solid history of providing quality woodfired pizzas to local people. With a combination of hearty ingredients, a wide selection of toppings and decent size pizza you can’t go wrong. Roost is currently offering a delivery service aptly named “deliveroost” and is open for collections and dining in.
