The Bun and Bones Club
The Bun and Bones Club is a hipster burger and wing bar strangely placed in Hazel Grove. Unlike the establishments that surround it, the owners have created a modern and fashionable eatery that encompasses the new enthusiasm for edgy burger joints.
Upon entry you are greeted with rock and roll soundtracks from the 50s and onwards. The restaurant itself looks like a contemporary mock American diner with a rustic edge.
The red seating, American red cups, and the introduction of a Trump style burger display a sense of fun in a very cool and informal setting.
The burgers range in price but average around 8 pounds – the fries do not come as standard but if you pay you are given a huge portion, I would recommend sharing these.
We decided to opt for the chicken style burger, which consisted of blue cheese sauce, salad, buffalo chilli and a sweetened sesame bun. In all honesty it was fantastic.
We would highly recommend giving The Bun and Bones Club a visit; don’t let the location put you off, it may be on the busy A6 surrounded by dated takeaways but it is definitely a diamond in the rough.
