Afiyet Stockport

The latest addition to Redrock is Stockport’s first Turkish restaurant. Afiyet stands on its own as an exciting new dining option for local residents and visitors from further afield. The interior space is absolutely incredible. The use of tiles, high end finishes, and clever lighting creates an amazing atmosphere for eating, drinking, meeting and more. We know it is odd to mention but the toilets are absolutely amazing!! Classssyyy much! 

We asked one of the owners why they decided to set up in Stockport – Murat told us “we see a future in Stockport, we can see the positive change happening, we want to be part of the community”. It is great that the Stockport brand is growing and more businesses like Afiyet choose our town to be their home! 

The space seats over 100 covers and offers a large varied menu that caters to all kinds of dietary requirements. There is a number of Vegan and veggie options on the menu including a whole host of vegan mezze platters. For the carnivores the options are endless including a golden steak, lamb shanks, wraps, a selection of seafood and more. 

Despite the luxurious nature of Afiyet the prices really are reasonable depending on what you order. The menu is that diverse you can have a more affordable evening out or go all out (golden steak, we are looking at you). The wine list has been curated with care and the cocktail menu really has a great selection. Afiyet is not just an eatery, there is a bar area where you can go in for a cheeky drink or you can sit outside amongst the beautiful plants and brightly coloured umbrellas! 

Afiyet is currently open after a very soft launch. When fully open the restaurant will be open for lunch 12-4 and dinner 4-10 Monday to Sunday. 

We absolutely loved our visit and cannot wait to get back! As always, it is great to see more food options in our town centre! All we have to do is support them!
