Bask Stockport

Located at Stockport Exchange (next to the train station) Bask has taken over the former Cafelito unit. Bask is a self described “speakeasy” which has live music at its heart. One of the owners Ben Taylor tells us “we chose Stockport because of the love for my hometown. That was the biggest pull for me. The future is looking so sharp for the area and we hope to be bringing something new and exciting to town”.

Bask will be multi faceted with different vibes throughout the day. Due to the proximity to the station they will be offering coffees, smoothies and more in the mornings. As the day goes on the atmosphere will change to a bar with a whole host of different activities and events planned. Mondays will be an acoustic night called Acoustica sponsored by Didsbury Gin and will host 3 artists every week. There will be comedy nights, spoken word sessions, Sunday music specials and DJ sets Thursday to Saturday.

We are really excited to see this new addition to the evening economy especially in a new area of town. The space itself is open airy and has been fitted out to make use of the large space! Whether you are looking for a casual drink, a cheeky cocktail after work, a night out, or a new gig venue – Bask has it all on offer.
