Visit Bramall Hall
Bramall Hall, and its 70 acres of landscaped gardens and woodland – are located on the border between Hazel Grove and Bramhall. The house itself, is one of the oldest buildings in the Stockport area dating back to the 14th century. It is nestled within two thriving communities and gives sanctuary for local dog walkers, history enthusiasts, summer and winter strollers and nature lovers.
The grounds combine children’s play areas, walking paths, rivers and a recently renovated small cafe (which is delightful I might add). People tend to enjoy spending time all over the grounds throughout the year regardless of the sometimes gloomy Stockport weather.
Those of you who are interested in the great house can take your trip a little further by entering the hall for a small fee of £5 for adults, £3.50 for concessions, and those lucky enough to be under 16 go free!
Whether you hope to delve in to the depths of history or wish to walk amongst the beautiful woodland – Bramall Hall really is an incredible asset to the Stockport community and is very worthy of a visit.
Tip: Entry to the grounds at Bramall Hall are free, however you do have to pay for parking so make sure you have some change ready.
